Kick off Diamond Jubilee celebrations in scout style
Scouts mark Queen's Diamond Jubilee with special activities starting on Accession Day.

Cubs (8 - 10½ years)

Cub Scouts is the next step on the Scouting adventure with the chance to try lots of different activities such as games, badge work, sports and practical skills like cooking.  Cubs also get the change to go on all sorts of outings including day trips as well as the opportunity to take part in camps and pack holiday weekends.

Cubs follow a balanced programme of activities which gives them a chance to try new things, work with other people, explore the world around them and develop personal skills.

Cubs are open to boys and girls aged 8 to 10½ years of age.  When a Cub reaches the age of 10½ they transfer to the Scout Troop.
