Parts 2 & 3 safely negotiated. Welcome back to the UK. The party arrived back in Glasgow at about 6.30 p.m. tonight to be met by parents following a long 18 hour journey from Vancouver. Many thanks to all our friends in Canada who made the adventure for the whole party such a great experience. Thanks also to Colin and Lindsay who have been our Home Contacts while we have been away.

Well we are on our way home now. It's only in the mid 70's today in Vancouver but with all the luggage to haul to the SkyTrain it's probably just as well. We visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge this morning on the North Shore of Vancouver and following that everyone had a couple of hours to do that last minute shopping before we made our way to the airport.
Return trip part 1 safely negotiated as we are now all checked-in and through security at Vancouver Airport, despite a few forgetting to remove bottles of water, suncream and maple syrup from their hand luggage. We are now awaiting our boarding call for the 9 hour return flight. See you all soon!

Our final full day in Canada before we return home. Today all the groups spent some time completing their projects before an afternoon at the Nat Bailey Stadium watching a baseball match between the Vancouver Canadians and Yakima Bears which Vancouver won 4-3 in the 11th inning.
The Pegasus Laundry (Gillian and Moira) then swept into action to ensure kilts were ironed and everyone had a clean polo shirt before heading out for a special end of expedition dinner at the exclusive Top of Vancouver restaurant which gives a 360o panoramic view of Vancouver as it revolves as you dine.
A fitting end to the expedition. Tomorrow we are going to the Capilano Suspension Bridge before we make our way to the airport and head for home.
