Scout Mystery Trip - Details & Kit List - 27-01-2012

Scouts going on the Mystery Trip (11th & 12th February) will be issued with further verbal instructions tonight and reminded of these next week. A letter containing this information was issued 3rd February and can also be found in the Parents section of this website. A provisional minimum kit list can be found below.

Details 

We will meet at a public transport hub at 10.00am on the Saturday and will return to the same location at 16.55pm on the Sunday. Scouts should bring with them a packed lunch for the journey. Please ensure that Scouts have a full set of (actually waterproof) waterproofs - not just something with a hood. Scouts will be outside for Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning no matter the weather! Please limit luggage to one small bag, Scouts will have to carry all their own kit between our point of arrival and our accommodation. Scouts do not require their uniform, but do need their neckie to aid identification.

Below is a minimum kit list for the Mystery Trip:

• Packed Lunch for Saturday
• Neckie
• Sleeping Bag
• Roll Mat
• Waterproof Jacket
• Waterproof Trousers
• Hiking Boots/Strong shoes
• Trainers
• Dish Towel
• Change of Clothes
• Warm Top e.g. fleece
• Toiletries
• Hat and Gloves
• Small amount of spending money (no more than £10) that they will be responsible for
